I was voice clipping with my friend Sal this morning. I was trying to explain how I like being in stressful situations but I also know the importance of being at peace and being calm. I couldn’t think of something that would properly explain it.

To my delight, I got a click back saying that he thinks of it like a hurricane. At the eye of the storm, it’s super calm and that doesn’t mean that wildness isn’t going on around us. It just means that we are calm and not allowing the chaos the is right at our fingertips to enter our space.

I like that.

I am calm like a hurricane. Not like a gentle rain or a rainbow or any of those things. Calm like a hurricane.

I think, if we ever really want to achieve something huge in life, this might be something worth looking into. 🙂
