What I’ve Learned about Wealthy Affiliate After 10 Years
Let’s just say that I have joined A LOT of different online learning platforms since 2010. While I did find Wealthy Affiliate early on, I thought the money for the monthly admission was way too much. I guess that was because of the way that I was looking at it. I was looking at it as an expense vs an investment in myself and my husband and I worked hard for our money so I didn’t want to spend it if I didn’t have to.
Since that was the case, I was at Wealthy Affiliate for a little while and even though they taught me an insane amount of information that was super helpful, I ended up going elsewhere.
What have I been looking for?
- REAL training to get RESULTS
- A Place I can refer others to for help
- Not going to break the bank
I kept searching for something that was going to fit all of those criteria but what I kept finding was that most of these other online school are either:
- Offer little to no support
- More expensive
- Geared toward people with lots of tech skills
So, while they might tick a couple of boxes, they didn’t tick them all. 🙁
Finally (after around 10 years!) I have come back to Wealthy Affiliate because it does offer all of those things AND I have the right mindset now to welcome the money that I put in for an investment.
There is now a free account option that allows you to get started and then you can upgrade to the premium which is pretty cool. I think it allows you to see what it is really like before you pull your credit card out and put your hard-earned money on the line. I know it was scary for me. Maybe it’s not for you, but if it is – that’s ok! I get it.
What I’ve learned about Wealthy Affiliate after 10 years is that they have stuck around for the long haul. 14 years in business!
Those numbers are not rookie numbers, but there are still a lot of people out there that can benefit from this school and that is one of the reasons I am writing this review today. You should know that I am of course an affiliate of Wealthy Affiliate. If you get started through my link and upgrade to premium, I will get a commission at no extra charge to you. I want to be totally up front with you on that. (Thanks if you do use my link) 🙂 Click here to get started now.
When I came back to Wealthy Affiliate (check out my profile below) I was really impressed at how much it had grown in my absence!
I was glad I didn’t have to create a whole new profile when I came back.
Another cool thing is that before when I was here, the co-founders Carson and Kyle were these single dudes that were probably off partying (I don’t know…lol) on an island somewhere and weren’t super active in the community and a lot of people were complaining about it.
Now, Kyle & Carson are both active on the site, married and have kids. Look at these cute pics! lol
Anyway, enough of their cute families. Let me share a little bit about me and my cute family.
Who I Am
You can see more about me on my About page but here is a little bit. 🙂
When I started out with Wealthy Affiliate in 2010, I had no idea if it was a wealthy affiliate scam, I had no idea about how to write compelling copy, how to set up a website and start my own blog or any of the stuff that I know now.
Since we have freedom of location we full-time RV and go wherever we want. So far we have been to 17 different states and it has just been super amazing. <3
