Black Friday deals will be upon us before we know it. If you’re anything like me — you don’t like to pay full price for anything when you can get a deal.
In 2019, Black Friday lands on November 29th. While we have some time before we actually get to Black Friday, the more prepared you are, the better you’ll fare. The worst thing you can do is go into the stores without a plan.
This year we have a few things on our radar that we know we want to get the kids for Christmas AND we have 2 birthdays in January. Instead of paying full price for everything, hello Black Friday deals! Here are some tips to keep you on track during these crazy sale times.
Survive Black Friday Mayhem
While not every store is going to be a knockdown drag out like you see on television, it is still pretty crazy. These tips can help you get in, get out and stay safe.
Don’t Bring Your Credit Cards
It’s entirely too tempting to go over your budget when you bring the credit cards. If you are shopping online, this might be a little more of a problem but there’s still a solution. Only use your debit card and freeze your other cards so you don’t use them.
Wear Comfortable Shoes & Clothing
If you want the best deals, you need to be out in front of the store before they open. Things fly off the shelves and you want to make sure you get what you’re there for. Wear shoes and clothes that are comfortable and airy so you can get through the day without sweating and aching.
Bring Some Snacks & Water
When you’re Black Friday deal shopping, don’t forget to bring some snacks to give you enough fuel to make it through the day. Water is your friend. Stay hydrated.
Take a Friend
Black Friday shopping isn’t any fun by yourself. Bring a friend so you’ll have someone to stand with your buggy. If you don’t have someone standing with your buggy, people will take things right out of it if they want it.
Going into the stores used to be the only way to get these amazing deals but now many of these stores have their Black Friday deals online. Shopping online can save you the hassle of the crowds but truthfully — some of you like the rush, don’t you?
If you’re like me and you don’t want to brave the crowds and throw elbows with Aunt Sue then try shopping online for Black Friday deals. Just keep yourself under control and stick to that budget.
Enjoy the Savings
Now you know how to navigate Black Friday deals 2019. If you’re like me, you’ll be shopping online but you can still get these great deals. The good news is that you’ll be able to avoid the crowds.
One thing you might run into is back-ordered items so keep that in mind when you decide not to hoof it to the stores. I tried getting air pods last year and it totally missed Christmas. Other than that — enjoy the saving and carry on my friends!
